New Liquibase Forum is Live

We’re excited to share our new forum! Zoho had served us well for many years, but there were a lot of issues. New users would get 404s when trying to sign up and it just wasn’t the forum our community deserved. It wasn’t easy to sign up and use. That needed to change. Frankly, it was ugly and we hated it, so it had to go away. 😉  Seriously though, the old forum has been archived, we have imported all the posts and users into a new forum software that is more intuitive and feature-rich like a StackOverflow vs. an old school post board.

Check out the new Liquibase forum

The new forum lives at the same URL as our old one. Go to forum.liquibase.org and you’re there.

New Liquibase Forum

Here’s what’s great about the new forum:

  • More advanced features are available (like bookmarking posts).
  • It’s mobile-friendly.
  • You can now @mention folks, including Liquibase employees.
  • Link preview in posts.
  • Gamification. (You can earn badges, rep points, etc.)

The dark gray theme matches our chat forum. (We’ve been a bit obsessed with dark mode over here lately. Perhaps that’s a 2020 thing in general.)

Past forum users, rejoice!

The best news is that users that contributed to the old Liquibase forum get to keep all of their content and badges. Your username is still valid! We made sure that we didn’t lose any of the great stuff you asked and helped with over the years.

Here’s how to make the transition easy:

  • Go to forum.liquibase.org. You’ll be asked to sign in.
  • Use your old Liquibase username or email address that you used for the Zoho forum.
  • Select the “I forgot my password” link to reset.
